They Want the World on a Dessert Spoon
Has anyone listened to Alex Turner's new EP? I was excited to see that he had released some solo stuff and I was right to be excited, the entire EP is awsome. The songs also contribute to the film Submarine's soundtrack and I definetly recomend seeing it. The film is from the point of view of a social inept teenager from Wales and his skewed take on life. The whole thing is hilarious, moving and a wonderful insight into the life of a British teenager - even if thats not your cup of tea its worth a watch just for the sound track alone.
This is my favorite from the EP, It's Hard to Get Around the Wind.

I am super excited as I am off on a huge adventure tomorrow! Me and some of my best friends are taking a ten day trip backpacking around to Morocco. We are visiting Marrakesh, Fez, Essaouira and taking a trip out into the desert where we have a camel ride at sun set followed by sleeping under the stars - I cannot wait! Here are some lovely pictures for you all to get you in the traveling mood and inspire the spirit of adventure.

Smile Over Spilt Milk
Chelsea Fisher is a wonderful photographer from Sea who combines the authenticity of film with the "convenience" of digital. the expert composition and focusing create simple but intriguing photographs. She expresses how the "patriotic blues and burnt reds in this stunning milk spill highlight the elegance of lost time - of bygone moments and fading aesthetics."
Chelsea calls her splash series "a really good excuse to make a big mess." She loves the aesthetic of coffee and tea cups and wanted to create a more dynamic image in her photographs of them. So, how did she get the milk to spill so enthusiastically? In this case, Chelsea borrowed a little ball from her daughter. She dropped it into the cup and simply clicked the shutter.

Street Style
Coggles.
I'm attempting to pack for my weekend away in London to London Fashion Week (!!!). I'm excited but also a little nervous as I'm unsure what to expect, will I feel really out of my depth? And of course the big question is - what shall I wear?? I need to look stylish but I'm going to be doing a lot of walking and lugging around heavy camera equipment so I need to be comfortable and warm as you never know with the weather in England. I've been looking for inspiration and love what these guys are wearing.

Siena fog
Doing my God awful exam today reminded me that I never got round to uploading my photos to my trip to Siena in November. The autumn fog made it especially beautiful, but the best thing about it was definetly the FOOD.
